Rugby World Cup predictions – Day Twenty

Will they play? Won’t they play? It’s been a frantic build up to what was already being billed as the biggest day of pool play even before typhoon Hagibis showed up. Qualifying for the quarter finals, qualifying for the Rugby World Cup 2023 or just picking up your only win of the tournament, it’s all on the line in the final day of pool play. It is the biggest day of matches in the World Cup and it kicks off with Namibia taking on Canada out of pool B, followed by the USA vs Tonga from pool C, next up Wales will be up against Uruguay out of pool D and then finally, the big one, with so much resulting from it, it is hosts Japan vs Scotland to decide pool A! We are treated to another big day of World Cup action on day seventeen with three matches from pool C, A and D. Rugby World Cup predictions – Day Nine

After the fantastic events of day eight in Japan, we have two extremely tight matches in prospect greet us for day nine of the Rugby World Cup, even if at opposite ends of the scale. Georgia taking on shock victors Uruguay from pool D will opening up the day and be followed by the huge clash of Australia and Wales to decide pool D. Rugby World Cup lessons we learnt from the weekend

It was an action packed weekend of rugby with many top sides putting in more final preparations for the Rugby World Cup. Two tournament hopefuls, Wales and Ireland went topped the list and we saw all the Island sides in action. Fiji, Tonga and Samoa all having runs. France and Scotland showed how dominant they can be against weaker opposition and we took a little look at some of the smaller sides as well.
