Rugby World Cup predictions – Day Fourteen

It has been business as usual in all the fixtures since Japan played last time but now they are back and looking to secure their place in the next round. But before we see them in action, there will be two matches earlier in day fourteen. It kicks off with the Wallabies going up against the first team to pull of an upset this world cup, Uruguay, from Pool D. After that things pick up quick a lot, England will get their first real test of the tournament as they lock horns with Argentina, a decisive matchup from Pool C. Then finally, yes the hosts are back. This could be a massive night for Japanese rugby as a win over Samoa should see them lock in a quarterfinal spot from Pool A. Rugby World Cup predictions – Day Thirteen

We had two fairly one sided matches on day twelve, with Fiji and Ireland taking easy wins over Georgia and Russia. Day thirteen slows up with just one match for the day that will see South Africa up against Italy from Pool B.

USA and Canada entertained the crowds with determined displays against much bigger opposition of France and New Zealand during day eleven of the World Cup. But things have a different feel for day twelve, with two very intriguing battles for pool A and D. Georgia and Fiji is a match tough to call as the sides battle for that important third spot finish. Then the second and final game is Ireland taking on Russia, we all know what happened last time Ireland was out, so they need five points and nothing less.

After the second day of scratching our heads wondering what to do as the World Cup has an off day, we kick back into action with two games on match day eleven. From pool D, France will start the day against the USA and then to wrap it up, New Zealand will take on Canada from pool B.

After the fantastic events of day eight in Japan, we have two extremely tight matches in prospect greet us for day nine of the Rugby World Cup, even if at opposite ends of the scale. Georgia taking on shock victors Uruguay from pool D will opening up the day and be followed by the huge clash of Australia and Wales to decide pool D. Both games will be tough to pick and fantastic rugby is definitely the order of day nine! After Japan’s victory against Ireland, I can’t wait, let’s get into it!

After a nice little days break where we all found ourselves wonder what to do without any Rugby World Cup action, we return to three big games. It all kicks off with two sides who started their World Cup with a loss, someone will grab a win between Argentina and Tonga from Pool C. Following that. the hosts return in the big Pool A clash between Japan and top seeds Ireland. Wrapping up day eight from Pool B will be the Springboks looking for their first win against fellow Africans Namibia.

We finally got our big World Cup upset on day six on the tournament. Uruguay stealing all the hearts and headlines from Japan. In day seven, the tempo is increases with two games coming out of pool B and C and the chance of more upsets on the cards.
