It all began almost two months ago, when the hosts Japan took on lowly Russia. Little did we know then what an amazing tournament we would be treated to over the next six weeks. It all ends tonight, Wales finishing fourth, New Zealand third and the victor between England and South Africa will be decided over these eighty minutes tonight. What a World Cup it has been. Upsets, cancelled games, boil overs, massive overachievement and huge disappointments. We have had it all and there is not much more to say than, well done Japan! Its been a fantastic World Cup, I have enjoyed every second of it! The teams, the people and of course the PACKED stadiums every single day, have been a massive highlight! It’s always a sad time when the Rugby World Cup closes out, so lets enjoy one more match, one more stream and one more preview!

What once promised as a very big day of the Rugby World Cup has since turned into a huge fight over the decision World Rugby has made and if cancelling two matches from day nineteen due to Typhoon Hagibis is the right decision. Regardless of everyone’s opinion, New Zealand and Italy wont meet and neither will England and France. As things stand, Ireland and Samoa will still go ahead so at least we have one game to look forward to and it’s pretty big for pool A.

But before we see them in action, there will be two matches earlier in day fourteen. It kicks off with the Wallabies going up against the first team to pull of an upset this world cup, Uruguay, from Pool D. After that things pick up quick a lot, England will get their first real test of the tournament as they lock horns with Argentina, a decisive matchup from Pool C. Then finally, yes the hosts are back. This could be a massive night for Japanese rugby as a win over Samoa should see them lock in a quarterfinal spot from Pool A. I am sure Eddie has a plan and I am sure it is a cunning one, but I don’t know it and I am a little worried. Why, you might ask? England have just come off an all power performance in beating Ireland 57-15 and showed Wales a clean pair of heels in the first half of their match at Twickenham that was enough to win the game. Admittedly they then lost to the same opposition in Cardiff in a rudderless performance with mixture of a team containing starters and finishers (I hate that term) and any way these are warm up matches. Things seem to be looking good. Eddie has a plan.
